RO Filtration & Cal-Mag

Macro Elements

Micro & Chelated Iron

Buffer & Titration

Cal-Mag supplementation must precede base N-P-K additions when using reverse-osmosis source water to establish baseline calcium bonds.

Dissolve nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium salts sequentially under high agitation to prevent local precipitation.

Introduce trace elements and stable iron chelates once the macro solution reaches complete thermal equilibrium.

Allow pH buffer to settle for two hours before final calibration and closed-loop system deployment.

Chemical Stability

Chelate iron stability across reservoir temperatures

EDDHA iron remains exceptionally stable at elevated reservoir temperatures and higher pH levels, preventing precipitation in warm root zones. However, its intense red hue requires precise dosing to maintain optical clarity in monitoring instrumentation.

DTPA iron offers superior photolytic stability under intense full-spectrum LED arrays but degrades rapidly when solution pH exceeds 7.0. Selecting the correct chelate structure dictates long-term microelement availability.
